Spec Sheet vs Tech Pack: What's the Difference?

A spec sheet is a single-page (or single-section) document covering one specific piece of information — most often the point-of-measure chart with tolerances for one style. It's a component of a tech pack, not a replacement for one.

A tech pack is the complete production document: it includes the measurement spec sheet as one section, alongside flats, bill of materials, construction notes, trims, labeling, and packaging — everything a factory needs to quote and build the garment without follow-up questions.
