What Niche Studio AI does
Niche Studio AI is a browser-based apparel design studio that runs the full path from a written concept to a manufacturer-ready spec: AI-generated 3D garments, a 2D pattern editor with seam allowance and notches, XPBD cloth simulation, fabric libraries built on measured U3M and Vizoo data, non-linear grading, marker nesting, DXF/SVG export, tech packs, a lightweight PLM, and manufacturer sourcing.
Every stage reads from the same project, so a fabric chosen in the fabric library is the fabric that drives the simulation, and the pattern that comes out of flattening is the pattern that appears in the tech pack's construction pages.
Create your first project
- Set up a brand kit: logo, 2–4 brand colors, and a display typeface. This gets reused automatically across renders and tech packs.
- Open the AI Chat Designer and describe a garment: silhouette, fabric weight in GSM, color, and any construction details you already know.
- Review the generated design tree and adjust individual parts (hood, sleeve, pocket, logo) instead of regenerating the whole garment.
- Assign a measured fabric from the fabric library, then run a cloth simulation to check drape and fit before doing any pattern work.
- Flatten the 3D design into 2D pattern pieces with seam allowance, grade a size run, and generate a tech pack.
